Guess I'm a bit late.
I got both of them, I used to come to those level 60+ and confuse which one is better, G25 or the Nike Vapor.
A lot of people tell me to go for the G25 and I ended up having the G25 at the start of Master tier. I struggled a lot and wasted like 1200 cr I won before on tournament and lost all of them.
After I decided to switch for the Nike Vapor, guess what? I'm on the top now. These clubs they are just, excellent in these level, unless you reach level 80+ then there are no clubs below can beat these Nike.
No offense, but a lot of people (not all of course) only play the Ping and tell you it's better because they haven't try the Nike. The only course that you can't use the Vapor on is the Congressional ( I think ) and Pinehust, I think because they have a lot of uphill approach and about Pinehust I'm not sure I just always do bad at it.
The rest, those common course in Bracket Master tier, Merion, SA, Royal, you will do superb on them with the Nike. With the right calculation on the wind and the elevation, (and hit the ding) your approach always leave you 2,3 yrds under for your next putt. --> easy birdie
p/s: I never like the Ping, different meter with my driver and wood, you miss the ding boom you're gone.
both clubs are sort of different, so if the Ping works for you, go with it. But for me, all my calculation on my Nike are sort of like my old R11 irons, I just can't use the Ping.
