I played the 2nd round of the Leadbetter Virtual tournament. Just before I played the F9 of Olympic for a bracket, scoring 28. The Leadbetter round was a mess. No one single shot was as usual. No wind, no distance, no draw or fade. The craziest happening was at the 7th. Perfect drive in green (I had a note for an identical shot arriving wide over the pin). The ball arrived just on the edge of the 2nd level of the green and got back, obviously. At least 4 y shorter. Ok, let's putt. Calculation (I know that here I have to hit 5ft more than normal). The putt incredibly arrived on the edge and got back! Damn old idiot, I said to myself, you made some mistake! Calculate, check everything, putt, again on the edge and back!!!! Bogey where I was driving for an eagle! I made 5 bogey all due to WGT that sent me in the rough somewhere, and 7 birdies. I love WGT, it's so real and close to real golf! But...... why there are players that score always 25-26 or 53-55 1st and 2nd round, no matter the conditions, never a meter jump, players that sink form everywhere?! I love you WGT...
