The other day i noticed that I had become a member of a country club, without knowledge of the club or intention to join. I'll spare the somewhat tired Groucho Marx quote here, but has that happened to anyone before? They might all be a great bunch of guys, but who know. Is there a way to get out of a club?

    Hi Craig,

Thanks for the post. If you had an old request sent to Join a Country Club, the owner may have just seen it and accepted it. You should be able to leave the club from the Country Club home page.

    All the Best,

Go to club homepage, there's a quit button at the top.

    *coughs*

@Craig: It's being reported here quite often. There's a WGT pop-up inviting to join CCs, and it may come in your way when you intend to click on something else in the game client. There's no conformation, thus you apply to a CC unknowingly, and when the owner accepts you're in.

Double trouble since he had to check and accept you, and you will want to turn on your heals and quit.

Still, it's better than buying clubs with the same automatics - they are offered on pop-ups after rental, and no confirmation as well. Your bad if you have enough credits ready.

Another half-cocked novelty of our host :(
