I saw two instances of this when I cleared out my cache.

    The other occurence was codelib_release1.swf

Is WGT trying to install an add-on without users knowledge, or is there a bug in their software.

First of all, I wouldn't let an add-on get installed without my knowledge, and what is its purpose.  Since, I don't have any add-on installed to begin with.

    Additional info:

I  was playing a CTTH last night, a few restarts, and notice my ram utilization was up through the roof at 3.6 Gigs.

    Bump!

This time I'd really like a WGT reply!

SWF is a file extension for a Shockwave Flash file format created by Macromedia and now owned by Adobe. SWF stands for Small Web Format. SWF files can contain video and vector based animations and sound and are designed for efficient delivery over the web.

    Hi Dan:

Yes, I do know what the extension swf is.

My concern is that the file was found in a temporary folder on my system profile.  Since, I do not use IE 11, and also made not available under programs and features.  Why would it show up in a user profile temp folder.

Caches for browsers, even IE 11,  all have unusual file names, like 5DEFCd01, this file stood out like a sore thumb.
