    Hi wgt

I have been here since 2014 and the game gets at times choppy.  What I mean by that is it will freeze up in the middle of your shot choice or your swing....it will start again and you can't learn from the game at those points....It also will stop you can't do anything like chose a club or move the marker for your shot and you sit and wait....after 9 holes of this you get frustrated by the game....Please can you fix it and make it a more constant flow like it use to be....:)

P.S I love this game by the way

    hi

thats a good question. I believe there are certain tier/level requirements when it kicks in; however, I am not sure if we can do anything until you get to the levels :(

    Hi wgt

I have just opened a new CC and don't have a ability to set up the 1,2,3 notice boards that are supposed to be.  I am on level 1 and that might be why.  Is there a way of doing it.  I went into owner's tools and it use to be there be is not there now.  Could you help me out ?

    Regards;

    Swingawaynow

Levels have nothing to do with it if you are talking about the notice board on your CC's Home page. I haven't been able to edit ours since one of WGT's latest and greatest "updates".

This problem has a cure, it's something to do with CC permissions settings.

There are threads on this with the full details of the remedial steps to take.

IMHO, this is one of the wickedest "shots in the knee" by WGT:

In Olde Times, any owner could edit the CC notice and notices.

Then, "officer" rights were installed, and at that moment owner's rights were hurt. They can't edit these messages on their own right. They are excluded from edit rights unless any other member group is included in "Update Club Messages".

Thus, CC owners can only edit the CC messages after they give these rights to "officers", and a different officer is only available from CC level 2.

Thank you NOT WGT for excluding L1 owners from CC message editing!

Right! Allow "Message editing" for any member section - this will allow you to edit the Notice Board.

Your programmers messed it up - of course, you are incapable to do anything about it!

True. It is a programming issue but come to think of it, WGT may have reasons behind it. Not sure :< /

But the fix for owners is to go into tools - allow the directors to make edit changes - grant the permission - and now you as the owner can edit the message board.

If you do not want any of the messages edited, then go back into tools and allow no one permission to make edits.

Which reason should it have? To let the owner make decisions on his own rights? To force him to let Directors participate?

Tell you what: This is one reason why I don't have Directors in my CC!

Another $%&§§$! user's workaround for an item which worked perfectly before them messing around,

and it doesn't work in L1 CCs!
