Why is the new pay out system in the ready go not open for discussion?

Probably because they would like to try the ideas that they come up with, instead of changing things within days of it being launched.

Another possible explanation is that for several months many many players have been begging for higher pay-outs for the top 2 or 3 spots in RG's and as soon as WGT gives to us people start whining. The people at WGT are just like everyone else. They get tired of having every decision they make dumped on as soon as it is put in to play. And really what does it matter if 5-15th lose 102 credits rather than 100 and 16-30th lose 51 credits rather than 50 you still lose credits and you still get some back. And the 3rd and 4th place don't win as many as before but they still win. I do agree that the pay-out suggested by Bollie would be a little better. But the decision is not ours.

The decision may not be ours, ultimately our response to the change will dictate whether it proves to be a sound one.

This is just my opinion and it maybe wrong. But, we had old system for over a year. Usually when we make changes, they are discussed and tried prior, so when we made this change, then we have to give it time.

Now, when I said we are not soliciting feedback, that's because we have to see how it works for now. Now, if you must discuss, then sure, make an appropriate thread in an appropriate forum and go for it. I only locked it because it was in main forum, which didn't have much to do with it.

Also, some folks were not happy about free speech statement, but it does not apply here and never has. I personally is all for transparency, as long as it falls within the rules and is on topic. So, yes, insults, useless posts, over the top rants, among other things may sometimes be deleted.

Our goal is to have an open communication, but take a look at some replies. I really don't think they fall in the communication part.
