i hate running out of balls in the middle of a match and being forced to use the starter balls. I often have different kinds of balls at the same time(callaway, gisd, etc) WGT should let us have an option if you run out of balls in the middle of a round but have another type of ball that has been purchased already, rather than just automatically refer back to the starter ball.

FYI... the USGA has a "1 ball rule"....ie, if you start playing with a certain type of ball, you must continue to use that type throughout the round...

By saying that, switching back to a starter ball is also a violation of the "ball rule" and Barnet is correct in wanting to be able to finish the round with a ball of his choice.

No he is not correct.  WGT is letting you continue the round out of kindness...you just have to finish with the starter ball.  What WGT should do, is force you to forefit if you enter into a round with not enough of the same ball in your bag to finish the round.
