  I am a bit of a noob at all of this but find it a little unfair that IF I am winning a matchplay game and my opponent disconnects, I have to sit around for 5 min  without forfeiting the game or I am recorded as the loser.

  So as I see it to not loose matchplay all one needs do is disconnect and the opponent looses. 

  AND I HATE GAME QUITTERS ON THE BEST OF DAYS so them gaining by their bad manners leaves a sour taste in my mouth.

  Hi,

  Unfortunately 5 minutes is designed to work for you not against you. If you have an issue with internet, it allows for a reboot and quickly get back in the game, for example.

  5 min maybe tough at the end, but it's better than not being able to come back if your ISP does decide to cough up
