    Good morning fellas.

I've been using the Anser putter for a pretty long time, and I think it's fairly good (although sometimes it sucks damn hard), but now the Redwood 72+ is taking my interest. I know I ain't 72 yet, but when I get there I hope to make a sure decision.

Thing is, I've been reading a lot about both putters, with hating and loving comments about both, but haven't found a solid direct comparison yet. Can you guys help me out? Is the Redwood so much better that it's worth the $15? Does it help you to 1-putt more than the Anser?

    Thanks!

You're passing up on a better bargain-the first Redwood. The Anser is the Redwood's little brother so if you're adept with it then the transition to the Redwood will be very easy. You pick up an extra scale (45 ft) and a big jump in accuracy. It takes a while to get used to the accuracy difference but it is well worth it.

IMO there isn't enough difference between the 2 Redwoods to warrant waiting-get the first one and you will be very happy. My own putter progression has been Anser, R1, R2, Ghost. The Ghost whomps them all.   :-)
