It is very frustrating to invest time into a game, and be ahead only to have people quit. There needs to be a way to discourage quitters, maybe a forfeit stat in their public record. If we can see they are quitters, then we have a chance of at least not playing with them. If they have a negative stat for quitting, maybe they wont quit.

You can out what you think of them on their wall. Sometimes they don't notice it and it stays there for ages.

Yes, and I never read someones wall before I play them either, I am suggesting something permanent and visible.  A "Forfeit" rate in their stats. While on that why not a number of wins stat as well.

Better yet, put the list on your wall that way you can see who quits and or everyone else can see it too.  No one can remove that.

I agree, post player stats such as wins and disconnects. It will expose the poor sportsmanship. We all have an occasional legitimate disconnect, even WGT crashes can cause a disconnect, but the frequent quitters will be exposed. With this small bit of accountability they'll be a little less likely to quit over a rough round.

Publishing on your wall won't work as most of us never look there.
