At the house i can not even get a game in against anyone due to the lagging and crashing. First off i was using chrome then someone told me about Maxathon. Both have not fixed the problem. As the subject said i have Satellite connection. Sad to say it is that or dial-up where i live. But the peace and quiet is worth it. lol . Is there anyone else who plays on a Sat connection and or anyone who can shed some light on this problem. I looked over the forums but did not see anything that looked like the problem i was having or a mention of the connection. But i might have missed a post or two. Please if you can give a bit of help i would greatly appreciate it.

I use Hughes Net, and for the most part no issues. Only time the game loads slow for me is if my wife is streaming music online at the same time or when a Clash is going on. I do keep my computer "clean" by deleting Maxthon browser cookies once a month, browsing history once a day and I delete flash files before every game. I also run Ccleaner once a week to free up space on my computer.

Deleting those files just means you have to get them back every time you play. If your connection is flaky this could cause game delays. Leaving them where they are isn't going to cause a problem and might even speed up your game a bit.

I agree YJ, those should only be deleted when the game has become erratic and unplayable due to a corruption.  Generally a browser reboot is all that is necessary.

I delete the flash files after the game loads and I am on the first tee box. I do not have issues with game loading slow and with me dong this I have a smooth meter for that game. It works for me, might not work for another player. It's just a suggestion.

I know for a fact that with Directv  every winter your signal gets weaker, the further North you are the bigger the problem....when the sun quit shining on my back deck, I used to check my signal meter and adjust the dish accordingly ....I would assume it is the same for the computer link signal if they are using the same satellite....

If you live in the Southern US States the loss is minor, Northern States and Canada the loss is significant.

(yes, a lot of Canadians do have DTV using US billing addresses)
