  I cannot understand why the ball goes in a totally different direction as to where I aim.

  I understand that you must stop the down shot on the line, otherwise there can be a direction miss. But when you get the green slider, which does not require you stopping the shot on the down swing, the ball goes in a totally different direction from where you placed the arrow head on the aiming guide.

  Any suggestions would be appreciated.

  You have a few "EZ Swing" clubs in your bag. These are very simple to play but also very unprecise. Select "Edit Equipment" and replace them by regular Beginners or Starter clubs. You might also add the missing SW to your bag.

  AFAIK, "Beginners" are better than "Starters", the putter in particular has had a good press here.
