Hi fellows. Since yesterday I noticed that I playing perfectly and suddenly the game turns slow, show me any animation frame by frame. I should forfeit several vs games and tournament because I can't play. Anybody had similar situation?

Thanks a lot for your support and the game.

Welcome to the wonderful world of WGT.  Enjoy your stay & good luck.  Then you will be told to clean the cache & yada, yada, yada.  The stander pat answer on here.

This was an issue for me prior to the last update, since then haven't seen it.

When I was having this issue before I'd just close the browser, re-open it and that would settle the problem in most cases (as long as Windows wasn't doing something in the background).

If I'm playing with someone who gets disconnected I get bad frames as soon as we resume.  Same situation, just closing and re-opening the browser before I resume works to correct the frame drag.

Clearing cache should be a fairly frequent thing.  WGT says only after updates, but it's easy for their junk to get corrupted on your machine.  When you clear your cache you delete all old WGT assets (some of which are stored indefinitely) and re-download fresh new ones.

Having the most up to date images, assets and other things certainly helps.  It should be your go-to move whenever something like that occurs, because chances are just doing that will fix it temporarily until something happens again.  It's not 100% effective, but it's a good place to start.

It won't fix any problems with multiplayer, because you are depending on 3 other random people to know how to maintain their PC properly.  Good luck with that.

Also, restart your browser after 9, 18 or 27 holes (or whatever it takes until you notice the frames starting to get choppy).  Flash doesn't like running that long without a break.

Oh, sorry.  If you are using the app then I have no idea.  Pardon me for assuming it was a PC issue.  Though I suppose the concept is the same if you substitute "browser" for "app" and replace "browser cache" with "application cache".

    Maybe this will help

I have heard good things about the WGT app so far in terms of playability, so I'm surprised to hear that you are having these very desktop-like symptoms.

Hi, it's very strange because it's random. Single Player and  multiplayer same behavior. I uninstall the game, deleted data and reinstall, same problems. After play a hole or just one shot starts again.

    thank you for you support.

Operating with low memory could cause this issue. Our game is rather resource heavy due to it's high definition graphics and the tools it needs to calculate shots, etc. Make sure that you are a on a fast, solid wifi connection and that you don't have any unneeded apps running in the background. If your device has not been powered down in a long time, try restarting it.

If that doesn't work, try deleting the application, restarting your device and then reinstalling the application.

I just finished a round with a couple of master level players.  It was filled with unexpected errors, jerky meters and screens.  We all felt it had to do with the WGT Servers.  I am sure you have all experienced to same regardless of the operating system you have, be Apple, Windows XP, windows 7 though 10.

What we are suggesting that WGT players start a boycott, of WGT products.  I know the standard balls and clubs are not fun with the speed of meters, so we invest money for better balls and equipment.  WGT makes hundreds of thousands of dollars off of us yet the WGT systems does not improve.  So I suggest we stop buying product till the site improves and becomes more reliable.  I am also putting this posting on the WGT face book page.

    TY

I use a RAM recovery tool on my Android and it works pretty good for recovering memory.

Here's a free one for iPads.
