The only way you're going to get more distance with a "slowish" meter is to use the balls that slow the swing down. The drivers above yours all have faster meters. A better choice would be to wean yourself off the "slowish".  GL

If you intend to take this game at all seriously or stay long term then you'll have to get used to the faster meters at some time. I'm old and grey but I use the fastest stuff available, not always well of course.

Old? Piztaker doesn't mention years, but I think you're both "youngsters". I'm

75 with gray hair going to white. Still have a full head of it , though, pain in the

--- to take care of. But seriously, think I'll take Piztaker's advice and go back to

a faster meter. Seems like I played better before I slowed it down. Thanks!

Well there is fast and there is faster. I play the I-15 irons and the Level 80 Taylor Made TP R9 280 yard driver and they have the fastest meter speeds in the game and I use ball that slow it down some most of the time. But occasionally I will play with the Tour-SD ball that does not slow the meter down and it can be rather daunting.

It is great to hear that there are many older people playing on here. Today I played an alt round with 2 older men. We had a great time.

How about a seniors tournament? Are Zimmer frames allowed on here?

For 2000 creds Silky, there are several people on here you could use...

However,I recommend you try out some of the rapture sets, you quickly get used to the meter, and they pay you back handsome just.

And some decent balls,if you have change.

Just seen what you've done.  I think you made a mistake getting the hybrid.  You look at the top players and most don't carry a hybrid, but 3 wedges instead.  Check out some of the better players.
