.....or does everyone face headwinds 2/3 of the time in every single Ready-Go they enter?

This usually isn't a big deal, but today I played BO5's 18 hole with heavy winds.  11 headwinds, 6 crosswinds and 1.....1!....stinkin' tailwind!  And it was on the RSG hole with the stream running across the fairway .....rendering my one lone tailwind completely useless.

There's nothing like being removed from contention before I even hit the ball...

If this is what others face in all their RG's, disregard.  Still seems like a bit much though.

18 straight headwinds isn't unheard of in RG's!

LMAO. Had exactly the same scenario there today, too. I was so aggravated by the turn that I played the back 9 with whatever aim was default and with whatever club the caddie chose, aiming by missing. Knew I was out of it early but got 1500 XP points for using the free pass, which is why I even finished. Sterling 88.  :-)

Thought it was just me. Had two tailwinds Sunday. Saw a 67 yesterday, so I know somebody got good winds.

Yeah, same here. At least got 'something' for my efforts, lol

I'm thinking the higher tiers get bad wind sets to add to the challenge but it's driving me bonkers,  actually for the longest time now that I think about it.  Only helping wind on par 3's ffs.

So, now I find myself thinking about the sandbagging low tier high level players with easy windset and the top equipment.   With that in mind, I now kind of giggle when I see the lower tier leaderboards.  They should be shooting much lower LOL.

Yes, Robbo, it`s only you. All other players have backwind on every hole.

I had two tailwinds. I thought moderate meant 10 - 15 or so. Not 24-30, lol

That's breezy! I can see St. Andrews or RSG. That's Scotland. It's almost always gale force. But 24 mph at Congressional? There's a hurricane happening!!

Oh well. Ya pays your money, ya takes your chances.
