WGT, it is long overdue for the option to equip our bags as we see fit. Beyond switching out a 3wd for hybrid, wedge ect... We payed for all our clubs, please give us the option to drop a 5 iron for example.  This can't be a real difficult option to put, I mean if you can do a running clock on how long a putt can be conceded this should be gravy. Jeez, jb, I saw the thread title and thought you were going to pull a Stanfill on us. Or maybe the Bucks going down pushed you over the edge. LOL

Don't hold your breath on the request, it's actually nothing like a timer and won't be happening any time soon. In the immortal words of one WGTIcon..."That's the way it is." ;-)

It may one day come but as it is theres too many factors involved.. for one theyd have to break apart the iron sets into individuals.. then figure out how to price them (which may be restricted to certain limits due to contracts with the parent company).. then get the approval from those parent companies or others for new clubs.. because I'm sure alot of people would want rescue clubs.. Then.. theyd have to re-code the equipment script out to be able to set the irons individually... So youre talking minimum a month just to even have a small end test setup going to run on a test server.. then another couple of weeks de-bugging it before switching it to the live server...

But of course you already know all of this :P

Another issue is: these are official clubs with brand names/etc. I don't know our restrictions as to what we can do with them.

I would personally love this option, but wanting it and getting it done are often much different tasks.

    I will keep trying :)

OK, can we look at it like this? WGT and the courses, USGA, the R&A all have contracts, yes we all know this. Since all entities are "in" the golf business right, which means they would fully understand the need to properly equip ones golf bag. I know some will scoff at this seemingly silly request, but I would really like to have this option and know quite a few others who feel the same. If WGT is really going for "the most realistic golf sim" this is a must have option. JB

I'm sure breaking the PW off an iron set wouldnt be too difficult.  With all the wedge options out there , why be stuck with the PW in your set?

    Happy Golfing

i believe that we should be able to choose what clubs are in our bag, unless you are sponsored( and i dont think anyone playing this game is) then you buy the clubs you want and put the ones you need into your bag for the game or course you are about to play. choosing which clubs you have in your bag makes a big difference to the outcome of your game in my opinion......one example is that i have put an extra wedge in my bag and simply do not use the PW i have in the set because i can get a better shot out of the extra wedge, unfortunately i have also had to remove a rescue club so i am down 2 clubs but hey, i use the wedges more than the rescue so it seems to be working so far..
