    On a related note, Christmas Eve has been scheduled for December 24th for the umpteenth time, just another example of the lack of imagination and creativity displayed year after year by the people who make the calendars.

    Last December I bought two Osram spotlight bulbs costing nearly £4 each, one lasted three months, the other, approximately one week! The stated life is 2000 hours which, if I had them on for 12 hours a day (which I didn't) they should've lasted 5½ months. Apart from in the dark, where do I stand?
