I've noticed this happening to me both on stroke play and CTTH, and haven't yet kept track enough to determine if there's one course in particular that it occurs on, other than out of the last 4 times I've tried to play the Celtic Manor Front 9 CTTH this has happened to me.  The deal is this: I can set up my shot with aim and spin, and take my backswing.  But as soon as I release the backswing to start the thru swing, the game semi-freezes.  The animation on the meter doesn't happen; if I take the mouse back down like I'm lowering the power, it reduces it, but I can't bring it back up; and I can't access any of the menu button on the top left corner.  This only ever happens with the first shot of the round, and I've never had it happen since.  I have to close the window with the game.  When I reopen, it acts like I chose the save and quit option, and I have to either continue the round, or exit/forfeit it.  Total number of times this has happened this week is close to 10 now.

    Hi,

I am sorry you are having trouble. Could you try this for me in 3 main browsers and then get back with results.

    • Clear Browser cache: Click here for instructions.
    • Clear Adobe Flash cache: Click here , and click the "Delete all sites" button in the Settings Manager.

    thanks:)

I've only ever played it in Chrome, since that's my main browser.  I followed your suggestions, and haven't had a problem yet.  I completed one round of the CTTH where I've had the most problems.  Then I tried IE, and it wouldn't keep me logged in in the game window.  I tried logging in 3 or 4 times, checking the "remember me" box, and it would keep logging me off after less than a second.  Went back to Chrome, and it prompted me to resume a tourney that I hadn't started, don't know what that was all about.  Also, I found out that when IE logged me out in the game client window, I also became logged out here on the forums in Chrome.  I haven't downloaded Firefox on this computer, and don't really feel like doing so just to test this bug out... sorry.

Thanks for the quick reply, and I hope I'm helping out with my blocks of text.

Hi, if it works for you in Chrome, then that's good. The other issue isn't really a game bug but more flash issues, which can occur overtime due to corruption or other things.
