It is simple game management, it costs no more in the long run to keep 3 sleeves of preferred balls in your bag, than it does to keep only one sleeve! I rarely lose a ball, but I never start a game without at least 6 of the balls I want to use!
I apologise sixkiller, for myself, and on behalf of all those uncouth players that have no management skills for lacking credits to buy 3 sleeves at a time.
It is always easier to make statements from one's pedestal. Reminds me of some historic figures...
