I read this and the rest of the thread and then went to the kitchen and washed some dishes so I could gather my thoughts.
I'm also retired and Social Security only pays me once a month. So I have a written budget that I follow.
But I don't use any of that money for playing WGT.
Since you're retired you should have the time to do what I did. Earn a boat load of free credits (I got most of mine by playing videos that pay free credits.)
I last invested time earning free credits on 2/22/2015. By 'mining' free credits every day, by that time I had a credit balance of just over 50,000 credits.
Now - 13 months later - my credit balance is 30,005 credits. I play daily and I play Nike 600 credits per sleeve balls. I won't have to worry about my credits balance until sometime in 2017.
