Barry... a few things here.  You are playing a "Spin" ball so you're giving up some distance there.  Are you utilizing backspin for downwind shots?  And topspin for shots into the wind?  And do you know the forward bounce areas, that kick the ball forward, on some of the fairways.  Maybe the guy with the lesser driver knows all this stuff.  It's not just all about the clubs.  There is strategy involved... not only brute force.  You know, just like real golf.

I know I am going to get flak for this but here goes. I am really fed up with the crap that this game pulls on clubs and distances. I don't want to hear about rising greens, or wind, or any of that. It isn't right when you hit a club rated at 210 yrds against a 7 mph wind and it goes 168yrs off a ding on the fairway!! Or 148yrds on a ding off the fairway with a club rated at 190yrds!!  Or you hit #9 on BP and overshoot and it tolls 22 yrds UPHILL??? Give me a break! That isn't even realistic!!!  It's hard enough getting the feel for this game with out unrealistc performance from the clubs. I don't care whether they are starter clubs or Pings!  It is a lot of "bull-droppings"!!  :-(
