I am looking for help from anyone with some knowledge about Flash or who has resolved a similar problem to mine. The problem starts when I join or host an AS game and all players leave the lobby but the game never loads the screen for the first tee. There's a moment when the screen is blank (blue) just before the first tee loads but I never get past this point.

The game does not time me out for several minutes (I have tried waiting). It's like it's waiting for some confirmation from my computer that it is ready before it loads the first tee but never gets that confirmation.

This problem is not reliably reproducible but happens fairly regularly. The situation is made worse by the fact that this starts a chain reaction with the other players in the game. I will close the game window and reload to get the game started and this time I will get the screen for the first tee. However one of the other players will get a blue screen in the same way that I did at first and then he can't load.

So he will close the game window and reload and this time I will get the blue screen before getting to the first tee. So I will close the game window and reload and now he or another player will get the blue screen.

What is reproducible is that I am always the first person to get the blue screen and once this happens another player (or players) and I will alternate blue screens until the game is over. The other strange thing is that this situation only happens when I play games with the four or five other players in our country club with which I play AS games daily. I play a lot of AS games with other people and have never had this happen in those games. I should add that this has only been a problem in the last 3 months or so.

I have found that the problem can be prevented if I delete the "Flash Player" directory in Users\<my_name>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe and the same directory in Users\<my_name>\AppData\Roaming\Macromedia. (AKA clear the Flash Cache). However I should not have to do this before each game that I play.

I should add that this blue screen problem also occurs often when I play multi-player stroke games with these same club members.

I have tried Waterfox (a Firefox clone), Maxthon and Edge browsers and all show the same symptoms. I am using Waterfox 44.03 (most recent version) and Maxthon 4.4.8.200 (current version). Flash version 21,0,0,197 and Windows 10 My ISP is Verizon FIOS and the router is hard wired to my computer.

The only other applications I have running when I play wgt is Excel and a text editor program and Skype (which I use for talking to club members while playing).

I would VERY MUCH appreciate any help from the wgt community on this matter.

Have you tried to increase the amount allocated for flash memory higher than 100 kb who knows it might help

I doubt it will, Sting, he's describing the current mess MP games are experiencing. It's a regular crapshoot these days, trying to get a full round in. For a stretch I could guarantee I'd get a blue screen if somebody else disconnected. It starts the blue screen merry-go-round.

This is on WGT, Msulaman, and there's not a whole lot any of us can do about it.

This is all Horse Crap. It's not your Flash player. WGT has always wanted to blame this on everything but their software glitches. It's been going on for at least a couple years and nothing ever gets done about it. It's your browser, it's your cache, it's your flash player, submit a bug report, etc, etc.

Last night we tried a 4 man skins game with credits and of course we got the blue screen merry go round and eventually everyone got booted but the ole soffware sure kept all of the credits including the ones that werent won!

I am not one of the upper echelon players but have manged to get to Champion level and over the last 3 years have given WGT quite a sum of money getting there. It could be a great game if it ever worked correctly but i'm done giving them my money and time!.

Hopefully Tru Golf will get the hint and quit hiring programmers from middle schools and get the game fixed rather than blaming the players!

well said my friend, it's bad enough to not be able to enjoy a game but to get taken for all of our credits is waaaay over the line!

Agreed, Its all programming glitches. Comeon guys, we pay damn good money for the balls and clubs and now we have to see those fooking commercials as well. There are good programmers out there. With over a million hits per month to the site, and all the revenues generated in multiple ways, cant u make the game at least playable without having to restart 4 -8 times for Alt games? Put OUR money where its going to do us some good to please.

It is just a thought, but could it be possible that AddBlock could have something to do with it? The same thing happens to me when I am playing someone that I know has add block on their browser........Just a thought, no science to back it up!

I have no add blocker running. Although the last week or so, the blue screens seem to have been "miraculously" fixed. Keep your fingers crossed.
