Well done to those currently on the leaderboard of the Tour Pro, Pro and Amateur categories:

    Tour Pro 57 & 58

    Pro 55 & 58

    Amateur 62

I think the 55 beats my best ever at BP by 10 shots and I have been a master for a long time. I suspect the other pros etc. who fancy a chance to win credits are heartened in the knowledge that they to can score such low scores within their tiers.

    Seriously great scores guys.

I agree 100%.  You guys must be sooo proud to achieve such greatness at such an early stage in your WGT careers.  Keep up the good play...you inspire us all!

    Wow!

    (sleep well)

Stunning talent on show here, and all for a couple quid, very sad.

I found this interesting and researched the player that shot the 55 in the pro tier.  Well part of the problem is WGT.  It seems as though whatever tier you begin a particular month at, in this players case he started February as a pro, that's the tier you compete in for that entire month in WGT tournaments open to everyone.   That particular player is a master with a 63 avg as a master so I think a 55 from the pro tees is very attainable.  With the equipment and the Callaway balls slowing the meter down so much and making the ball stop on a dime.  I started this month as a tour pro and moved up to master during February yet when I enter the Stroke Play tournaments I play in the tour pro tier, I'm just not good enough to take advantage of the shorter tee boxes as some other's are capable of doing.

For someone to hit a 55, (-15)  within 3 weeks of joining, opens up some discussions, surely?

Or, do we all just accept that the the game is too easy now?

It isn't  for me, that's for sure.

After many,  many attempts at BB, my best is 65, not good i admit, but a lot better than what i was hitting after 3 weeks.

Is it the case that the new balls have been opened to almost anyone?

There are threads where people have said that  some have access to software that allows them to "ding" every time.

    I don't know.

I know when i look at the leaderboards, legends can score low numbers, well done them, they deserve it.

They have played 1000's of rounds and know the courses outside in.

In my case, i have spent around $70,  in 5 months, ( i can't do surveys) i think that is ok  for a game that i find very enjoyable and challenging.

As for the future, i will not be spending anything more,  on balls or clubs or anything else.

So, if  i happen to win credits for anything, it will be with the starter balls.

    Good luck everyone.

I know there's a lot of people with more than one account out there....learn the game, then start from scratch with a different email address and everything, you can even gift yourself stuff....plus take the knowledge you already have and bingo....STILL you have to pull off the shots...just a thought!
