Can someone help me out with landing distances for wedges.....  i.e,  landing distance and expected roll  (which obviously depends on the up/downslope of the green) I guess I'm asking for a primer on the math of playing WGT...  (on a KindleHD10)...  any tip for dealing with the math portion of the game would be a great help...  thanks in advance

without knowing what wedges and balls you are playing with anything anyone says will just be a wild guess. For instance with my Cleveland 588 wedges and Cally balls I get virtually no rollout and on many holes the ball will back up. Conversely the poorer WGT starter wedges and free ball you will get quite a bit of rolliut.

Alot of us old timers here, took alot of time and money time to determine how much each club will carry vs the amount of spin applied, given the type of ball, and clubs used.  We used the replay feature in reverse view, to get as much info as possible.

So all I can say, is take lots of notes, of each club and carry, and make note of the wind also, and how much spin you applied.   There is no harden fast rules, but keeping your wits and common sense, will give you a good starting point.

. . . I guess I'm asking for a primer on the math of playing WGT...

    Math primer:

    1+1 = 2

    1+2 = 3

    1 +3=4

    etc

Using the Pitch/Chip shot mode - putting green grid
