Re: Residual Persistent Hover-Over Text Box

  When you close the "Join a Country Club" splash screen, while it is fading away if you happen to hover over a spot where a country club link had been displayed a hover-over text box is shown, and it doesn't go away. I end up playing whole rounds with this errant text box on display. This is repeatable with a Firefox browser on Windows 8.1. I do have screen shots, but while I can drag and drop images that show up while writing / editing a post, they do not appear in Preview mode nor in the published entry.   You need to upload that to a hosting site first before you can post it here.

  http://postimage.org is a free site for that. Then you paste the link to the Insert Media.

  Yeah, thanks, I saw that the media icon asks for a URL, but I'm not about to sign up with some external hosting site just to send pics to WGT. It would be more convenient if the editor allowed them to be uploaded to WGT's site and then referenced in the posts. Anyway, if someone from the WGT dev team wants them to help track down the bug, email me and I'll send them back as attachments. Or, like I said, it's easily repeatable (on my laptop, at least).

  Can't produce this one as I am a CC member, but isn't it coming up outside game play?

  What happens if you close and re-open the game window?

   

  BTW: WGT won't approach you - you'd have to contact CS with your quest and pics.

  BTW2: No need to register on postimg, but you can't use your local photos here.

  It happens when you close the splash screen and then drag the mouse cursor over to pick something like "Blitz" from the menu, and as you mouse over the fading list of CC links it pops up a text box that never goes away. Yes, closing the play window and going back to the main WGT window takes care of it. It's a minor nuisance, not a big deal. But it happens to me frequently enough (if I forget the bug is there) that I thought I'd mention it to whomever cares. My screen shots shouldn't be needed, they'll just show what I have described, i.e., what I see after the bug's been triggered.
