I have been as big of a supporter as anyone of this game, but I am gonna take issue when the wind is in my face on every hole of a Ready Go.  The Masters play Bethpage as our tier RG, and I just played a front 9 that was an absolute nightmare because the wind was 17-20 MPH in my face on every hole.  The greens are difficult enough to reach...especially on 7, without having to face a 19 MPH wind on every hole.  Now I don't pretend to be a golf expert, but I don't think that all of BPB's holes face the same direction.

So why did I post this under "Product Suggestions"? Well, it's because that there has to be a way to say "If wind is in your face at (x) hole, then it should be at your back on (y) hole, because they face opposite directions". Or, "If wind is coming from the right on (x) hole, then it should come from the left on (y) hole.  It's a game and shouldn't be difficult at all to program.

If this was an isolated incident, then you probably wouldn't be hearing from me...but it isn't and I finally feel as if I need to say something.  This has been coming to a head as it has happened more frequently.  Please...just look into it as wind like that is probably a 2-3 stroke difference for a lot of players.

    Thank You

WGT want this. Worse off scores mean upgrading equipment. Upgrading equipment = $$$.

    SD,

I'm not so sure about that.  The only thing I'm asking for is a level playing field.  If the wind is in my face on every hole, that means that someone probably has the wind at their back on every hole.  I personally don't think WGT gains anything from having one player post lower scores over another, and I don't think the wind or anything like that is done with any kind of intent.  From what I understand, each hole is completely random, which is a mistake.  I think the first hole should be random, and have each subsequent hole feed from that.

Maybe this seems like a bit of a complaint, but it's not. Really it's more of a product improvement suggestion.  For the record I posted a 36 on the round.  Double bogey on 7, birdie on 9, and par on the other 7 holes.  That's 3-4 strokes off of what I usually post at Bethpage, and will have a huge difference on my final position.

For all I know, the next RG could have 9 strait holes of wind at my back, and that would hardly be fair to whoever has to post up against me.

    Good Golfing,
