Here's an idea...
We occasionally have tournaments organised by members to use certain clubs and balls only, usually starter/beginner clubs and freebie balls. Well to take that a step further, where WGT have tournaments for 'All Players' these tournaments could be made to play with certain clubs and balls only. And all players to play off the same tees too. Obviously WGT would have to set the equipment to whatever they want it to be and not allow it to be changed by the players. I know some players would complain for having to constantly be switching equipment and therefore not being used to any set of clubs, but then no one is forcing you to enter the tournament; it's just a way of making use of what you have and cannot do anything (else) with. And, WGT, just think of the extra revenue you could make with players having to potentially buy certain clubs/balls in order to enter said tournaments. And, in my opinion, players would enter them if credits were on offer.
It's amazing what great ideas one can come up with when ones posts are being moderated.
