Just a query on prizes in the tournaments

I recently finished 58th in the wk 10 9-hole unlimited play now according to the payout rules i should have received 0.224% of the prize fund which i believe was 800 credits.

I also finished 20th in the wk10 closest to the hole competition where the prize fund was 600 credits and 20th place should have received 1.3% of the fund.

Now those contests finished on the 6th and i don’t seem to have won anything, I'm not that bothered as it wouldn’t be much anyway but i got a buzz out of actually finishing in the top 70 for the first time.
So am i missing something is it not the top 70 that get paid or is it something to do with what tier your in?

    Ah

Just read (should have done so earlier) it can take a couple of weeks for notification to come through, can any of you big winners out there confirm this?

Yes they take time.  But your statement above leaves out that ties reduce a positions payout.    The amount you will receive will be very minimal.

    Cheers,

They do take a few days to pay out, and also occasionally there's a glitch in the system which stops the process being completed.  For example, I won some credits in wk9 tournaments but didn't receive anything.  Gave WGT a prod, they looked into it and restarted the process... and hey presto, my winnings are in my account.

My advice is that if you haven't received anything within a week send them an email at their normal address.

You tied for 58th with 80 other players, which means you will share 58th through 70th place with 80 players.  Total payouts for places 58th through 70th in your tier will be 22.05 credits, divide that by 81 players and you get 0.27 credits per player or $0.0027 in earnings.  Since it's well under 1 credit you will unfortunately end up with nothing...

Good news is that once the CTTH pays out, you should receive 7.8 credits or about 8 cents in career earnings.

Congrats on your winnings!  I agree, always awesome to finish in the money regardless of how small the payoff is.  As a point of reference, I believe I just got paid yesterday for my week 9 winnings, so yeah, it can take a little time to pay out.
