I'm a big fan of the ATV wedges, the high level ones anyway, I never tried the low level ones.

I played with Cleveland CG for a long time before changing and loved them as well, you really can't go wrong with either.

If I had to be critical I found the Clevelands had a bit more spin that you really need, getting the ball to run out a bit takes a fair bit of top spin.  The 50/41 yard full shot/punch of the ATV also suits me better.

Where I do find the ATV wedges slightly lacking is when you use top spin to squeeze a few extra yards out of a club, they struggle to get more than 2 yards over their claimed distances.  I know I only play a fairly humble Cally ball but that same ball used to go 5 or 6 yards further with the CG wedges easily enough.

Just be happy knowing whatever you choose it'll be very good.

    Robbo81303:

As the OP is L54, I think it would be a disservice to not mention the L50-52 Max Spin wedges.  These wedges are sooooooo much more capable than either of the aforementioned sets - and notably less expensive than the Cleves - and should be compared with the best wedges in the game.  Certainly no wedge has more spin and, in my opinion, this attribute is invaluable  when pitching, flopping or punching shots.

I don't understand why these wedges don't get more love here in the forums.  I'm seeing more and more high-level players using them so it can't be just me.  Give 'em a try!

I used them for a long time. It allowed me to use cheaper, low spin balls so money was saved on both ends.  I would recommend them as well.
