OK! Let's keep WGT the right to sell clubs. But why not to donate old clubs to greenhorns. Maybe most of the WGT-leavers as pro or tour  pro would be still playing after used donated and better clubs as their starter set. Having less fun playing with the starter set in a higher tier shurely is NOT the best motivation to buy clubs!

But I try for some days to resell clubs with the notice: "clubs are equipped" but none of them is equipped at all.

THIS GOES TOO WIDE DEAR WGT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gifting or selling to other players has the potential to violate/circumvent the Level requirements for obtaining clubs.

Selling equipment to other players is prohibited in the Terms & Conditions players agree to (but few read) when they join WGT.

Either option would add a layer of programming and management complexity not in WGT's interest to take on.

Anyone who thinks they "own" clubs on here...

Also, selling clubs would severely dry up a revenue stream for WGT - not a small one either.

Can you really OWN virtual clubs?

    Intellectual Property.

This would be a nice add to help others that are just starting out.

Not in this game, see the T&Cs below.

They are licences granted by WGT, and they are so generous to take them back at 25%.

What % does your pro shop give you if you trade in clubs for new ones?

A f*ck of a lot better than the shitty % here that's for sure.

In fact at the private club where my friends works on 'professional' grade clubs trade-ins for upgrading clubs is usually around 40% depending on condition.

    2 Points

    • I can trial clubs at no cost from my pro shop
    • Last Driver I bought used for a month and sold it back for half the price I paid

Issue here is clubs can be 1 hour old or 5 years old - same price regardless as clubs do not deteriorate in terms of attributes.Yes the programmers could pro rata the price depending on the age of the clubs, but why would they - very profitable! Also anything that makes it harder (or less profitable)  for a multi to dispose of assets and re-distribute them is good thing.
