I don't play the WGT Tourneys often, but usually hit the unevens. I ran into this on this week's foray at Bo4. First I've seen of it.

It was advertised as Chump greens like normal. After leaving a couple of putts short, I started treating it as normal Championship speed, and did okay from there out.

Anyone care to shed some light?

When Legends play AS games with TLs and Champions, they see the 13.0 greens. I tell those that ask to putt like a Legend flat or uphill, just sweat the downhill rolls because you can't measure momentum, you have to experience it. I found the same thing applies when putting on those 14.5s if you're used to 13.0-the downhill putts are the ones that get you.

FWIW, I use avatar movements and the difference between 12.0 and 13.0 is one side of the move-past it for 12 and before it for 13. It works that way on 14.5 speeds, too.  :-)

Faced the 14.5 greens on lots of occasions recently.

30% off for uphill and flat for me and 35% off downhill.*

*Individual green characteristics should be taken into consideration.

Yeah. I remember one dh putt that just kept getting faster and faster. I thought, "Darn good thing the hole got in the way."

The two I left short were up hill.
