Good morning. Last night I was playing a CC Tournament, which 2nd round took place in the back 9s of the "Best of par 5". When I was in the tee of the 6th hole, I had a strong wind from left to right. I try to cut the ball through the trees, but the ball hit some branches and landed in the deep rough. Result: LOST BALL. Well, I have to admit it was MY FAULT for trying to take a risky shot. But well, right after that, I have to shoot again, from same position. I hit a very different shot. Use my 3wood, aim to the right of the fairway to avoid every single tree (less distance but safe shot), but the ball incredibly "hits" a "ghost" tree. I mean, the ball was flying straight to the middle of the fairway and it suddenly stopped, making the famous "tree noise". I want some kind of response. I lost a 550 cr Nike ball. I admit that the first shot taken was ABSOLUTELY my bad. But the second one was a shot completely out of risk and still "hit" some invisible object. I wouldn't write this if it wasn't true.
