I get this message every day but I can't figure out how to improve my equipment with my coins.  I thought the only use for coins was for rentals. Is there something I'm missing?

Improving might mean buy new equipment?

Didn't think coins could be used to buy anything. Last time I looked they can only be spent on rentals. I log in my mobile everyday just to spin the wheel. The game is far too small to play on iPhone - at least for me.

Visit the pro shop, choose a product (ball, club, ...) and there you have the choice between rent, gift or purchase it.

Unless they have changed recently a 7 day rental is all you can do with coins. If you are on mobile only watch the videos and do the offers to get credits to buy better gear.

Also you might try the Christmas in July thread to get a club or clubs gifted to you. I sent s 3 wood as a gift yesterday.

ok.  I thought there may actually be a way to use COINS to improve my equipment, but apparently not.  So the headline on the Daily Spin pop-up is NOT true. You CAN'T improve your equipment by winning coins.  Renting equipment doesn't improve MY equipment since it's not mine.  I was just wondering if there was a way to use the coins to purchase (improve) equipment, but i guess not.  Oh well.

On a side note, can you gift the coins to someone else?  Or is the ONLY use for an owner to rent equipment?
