  Would you be interested in playing in an equipment restricted tournament once a month or something ?  Like only the starter equipment could be used, but the scores to don't count towards scoring averages ?

  With all the complaints recently about cheating, equipment ruining things ect I was thinking about this.  It would give players a chance to prove themselves on things like course management ect.  I admit some of it would be dumb luck because lets be honest, you don't always know where the starter ball will roll on the greens ect, but at least everyone is in the same boat.

  For Legends it would be a challenge to shoot par.  Like the PGA Pros playing a US Open.

  Yes i would i think thats a great idea i already use starter balls so i know how they roll but with starter clubs thats another question. I think it would be great 2 do this as many sports are trying this out and it seems 2 work great.

  Most CC put these type of tournaments on.....all you got to do is join one and away you go.

  Yes, but wouldn't a CC tourny be against everyone heads up ?  I know they play from their tier tees so that might not be fair, as I assume even the skill of a Legend would not make up the huge yardage difference from say Amature or Pro tees.  I mean a tourny where it is still tier based and you compete against the same peers you normally do.
