Does anyone have suggestions on how to play the 2nd shot going to the green (assuming you hit your drive in the fairway)?  I can't figure it out.  If anyone has been there could you tell me that the uphill elevation is that extreme or wgt exaggerates it?  Thank you.

IMO the best way is to play it just short of the greenside hill and bump it up onto the green

It is that extreme. I had to lay up and hit a wedge.

The best option in WGT, if your equipment doesn't let you stop it near the hole, is to play your second shot about 15-20 feet past and a few feet to the right. There's a little slope there that helps hold your ball on the green.

It is that extreme. You have 2 basic shots to think about-the bump and run or a long shot using the slope past the pin to roll back.

A typical approach usually winds up hitting the slope in front of the green and stopping. Easy up and down save from there with occasional pitch in for birdie. The bump and run, when successful, uses that slope to stop a low shot and cause it to pop up onto the green. Very sophisticated shot that is much fun to execute. Usually a long iron punch with top spin.

The longer shot, carrying the pin and past, can get you a roll back to the pin by using the slope in back of the pin but you risk going long and staying up in which case a pitch or flop for a save is a good result.

You can stop the ball close with the right wind, otherwise you're playing a finesse game getting that bird.  :-)

p.s., think + 2 clubs on your approaches.
