  I'm a level 32 am .very solid off the tee, using the default driver, looking to invest in a driver that will last a whiles, torn between the callaway big birtha alpha 815 level 31 and the Taylor made M2 l26. Feedback appreciated

  Take a look at the L18+ Big Bertha same specs as the L31+ Alpha but a sloswer meter and the same price and its a high trajectory which is better .

  If it were me, I would wait. Whatever driver you get now isn't going to work all that well for you as you go up tiers. In other words, you'll outgrow it pretty fast. 

  I would wait until you hit level 48 and then get TaylorMade R1. It really shouldn't take you that long to get to that level. And that club is fantastic and will last a long time for you.

  I should have added the following to my post above. I think getting a decent set of wedges would be a bigger priority than a driver. My first set of wedges were the Cleveland 56, 60, and 64 degree wedges. Those were game changers.
  
  I made that decision after searching the forums a lot when I started playing. It seemed to me then (and I still believe this is true) that the consensus is you need 3 wedges (in addition to the PW that comes with your irons).
  
  In any case, I would make wedges the priority.  (By the way, in order to do that, you'll have to drop the hybrid.)
