Best part of 10 years ago now I know I go home early one Friday. Cat was in at Sydney hospital (vets) and at 17, long story short, needle time. On the phone I agreed and broke the news. Wife said something along lines of callous brastrad and idiot:) to me :)..........Through the rush hour traffic we raced to say auvoir to Denis (cat). I offered to pay on the way out but wife said no. I said no may as well, and no again...Two women at reception said think you have been told, and I never did find out what that cost.
I put my foot down and said no more animals and within two weeks two cats arrived..........One of the not wanted cats for some inane reason took a shine to me. Black dog at right foot and cat at left was the as worked........Several years later the cat we got at two years old (rescue) still follows me everywhere given a chance...go fig:
