The right-hand bunker of the tee at 7, if you land in it, has tire tracks all through the bunker. It doesn't seem to affect play, I'm curious about this. Three theories come to mind: (1) some drunk member(s) drove his/their cart(s) around and around in the bunker; (2) some local high school kids jumped the fence and hijacked a cart after dark and drove it around the course (guilty of this in my younger days, though not this course; (3) the tire tracks are left over from a cart lugging WGT equipment around the course filming different angles for different shots; (4) the golf course equivalent of "crop circles"-a UFO hovered over the course and dropped an earth lander to take soil samples of these strange sandy things dotting the terrain. Take your pick: 1, 2,3, or 4. Whaddya think?

Maybe WGT can provide free Tinfoil hats with a WGT logo as an accessory to those who choose 4.

Excuse me, there's not much free here except for Starter balls and Gimmes, and the latter have not been confirmed yet!

Either those fancy hats might be incorporated in the Pro Shop Accessories, or they might fit in to CC level 14 benefits (empty today), perhaps for one day per week and member, as a starter?

Actually Kiawah has no cart paths and all the bunkers are played as non hazards, at least all of those around the fairway and virtually all of those greenside.   You often are directed to take a path through the bunkers to get from place to place or ride down the middle of the fairway.

In the case of the 7th hole, I don't recall ever riding down that bunker but it is allowed and possible that someone did it.
