  Hello everyone,

  My question is regarding the ability to or if we do have the ability to shape, work, or curve our shots.  The club attributes list workability but it's rating is noticeably low for almost all 14 clubs.  Is it possible to draw or fade our shots.

  A true draw or fade - no.

  Missing the sweet spot on the meter click can give you a faulty shot that can calcu-faulted to behave somewhat like a draw or fade, but it is very inaccurate; hit-or-miss if you will.

  I've been able to do it on rare occasions with the right wind. Bethpage is good course to try it. There are a lot of dog legs and if you get the right wind and miss the ding the right way you can. I have hit a couple of fantastic fade shots on #1 on Bethpage. #2 provides a good opportunity for a draw. Of course it all means nothing if you don't get lucky.

  so,

   

  It's 193 to the pin, sand in front and green slopes viciously to the back. wind is low, 7mph slightly off the left. I don't have the top clubs / balls to be able to stop the ball on the green by going straight at the pin. various proportions of greater / lesser clubs with varying amount of backspin / top spin and amounts of power don't work. it's always 15 yards short in the sand or 5 yards over the back of the green.

   

  i'm on the 5th at kiawah by the way - so let's try to shape this one in. the only way i have a hope of getting it close to try to "draw / hook"  in my 200 yard 3 iron.

   

  i aim 35 - 40 yards right of the flag, use full power and stop about 5 millimetres before the "ding" line.

   

  so my ball starts out left of where i aim and dirfts left a bit more.... yes???????????

   

  eh no, how about it somehow starts out left of the flag and then drifts left a bit more.

   

  dear oh dear.

   

   

  yes, i know the answer, pay 250+ for the callaway balls and miraculous things will happen
