It's either "ripped" or "ripened". But I suspect you meant the former ;-) Have you tried to get back to the game, reloaded the gameclient, etc.? Agreed, getting the error sucks. On the bright side, regarding the 40 cr green fee, they saved you almost as much in ball life cost ;-)
Any time this happens to me (extremely rarely) I report it to customer services and they refund the green fee.
Annoying when it happens but it's only a game after all, I always survive the ordeal. ;)
