I played the following Blitz game and on Hole #2 I got a hole in one.  It immediately showed me the replay then went to my opponents avatar and he took his shot.  When it showed up the score it had a tab that said SAVE REPLAY and I clicked on that and it appeared to have saved the replay, however, apparently it didn't because I cannot find it anywhere and it's not in my saved replays.  I am so disappointed - why didn't it save my replay?  I've only saved 2 replays previously and both times it allowed me to give the replay a name.  This time, however, it just appeared as though it saved it but skipped the part of giving it a rename.

It's difficult to save a replay in a multiplayer game, because you may have only very limited time before the game continues to the next hole.

Best thing is to hurry to the "save" window and just copy the URL to your buffer. You may then store it in a text file for replay, or post it on your wall.

My usual practice (in solo games) is to send the replay to my own email address - this overcomes the 10 slot limitation of the profile.

Another caveat: Replays in the profile list cease when you delete them - no use to save their URL.

Similar situation happened to me yesterday.  151 yard hole in one shot and when I went to save it an add popped up on the screen and covered the save option tab.  Any idea how I can find it again to save it?

No way. It's gone when you play the next shot or - for the last shot - when you leave the game.

Holes in one only count in your stats if scored in  stroke play games. Blitz games, alt shot, CTTH and match play aces do not count and are not recorded.

There is a separate accounting for "holes in one" in CTTH games, but they are not considered to be true holes in one.

I play on an iPad. The mobile version no longer supports replays. So, the other day, I got my first hole-in-one, and there was literally no way to save it.

Regardless, I posted about it in my country club's forum and described what the shot looked like. Of course, I received a lot of congrats, which was very nice. But based on the description of the shot, someone else in the CC had made a very similar hole in one and had saved it because he plays on the PC.

While it obviously wasn't my hole-in-one, it was close enough so that I could savor it again. And that's all that mattered to me. Well that, and showing it to my wife. :-) She doesn't play golf but she likes it that I enjoy the game, and she celebrates my accomplishments with me.

I will leave the majority of this post and the issues it contains to the grammar police.

However, I am curious about the "pay to play" comment...

This game is absolutely free to play with the exception of Cabo and Whistler courses where there are Green Fees. TG/WGT gives you clubs and unlimited balls when you join. It is the players choice whether or not to spend money on upgrades. And even then, there are plently of options regarding "free" credits.

The part of his statement that tells a lot about this obvious multi  is that he is on approbation for the 3rd time. I am assuming he means moderation for the 3rd time. So how is that possible with only 2 posts unless he is a multi??
