Here's a bug I've seen before , but just got it twice, costing me 7 shots & killing my ready-go round.

The second one, which I saved a replay of, is a shot from the fringe, about 15ft , downhill slope so I'm initially hitting about 5ft.

    Then tried 5ft again.

    Then tried 8ft.

Eventually got the ball to move by hitting full 15ft on meter, and went about 16ft past the hole.

I think the clue to the bug is that the meter was defaulting to 90ft initially, so I guess it thinks I am in deep rough or something.

I've had this problem from the fringe before.

Earlier in the round I was about 15yds off the pin in some wood chippings or whatever you call them. If I remember correctly it was only about 25% buried.

Tried a 17ish yrds flop. Ball never moved.

Tried a 17ish yrd pitch, Ball never moved.

Got out with a punch shot way past the hole.

    Just as an afterthought.

Whilst this game is in Beta, why don't you add a 'save bug' option to the menu which saves all the variable data from the last shot, with the replay ( if it's not in there already ).

Shouldn't be too difficult & would help you guys nail this stuff down.

This is a well-known sticky fringe behavior. Can't just hit it easy cause it will stick. Have to eithr avoid that spot or with hit authority.

The simple solution is to not putt from the fringe.  CHIP or FLOP.  The only time I've ever been able to successfully putt from the fringe is when the ball is barely into it.  Otherwise the glue factor is just too much for putting.

Here is a rule of thumb I use in putting from the fringe.  If I can not use more than 80% of the putting scale, I will chip or flop depending on the distance.
