  She caught their attention by being the owner of (probably) the fastest growing new CC ever. We're still relatively new, but the starting out growing pangs have eased up. I just happened to be in the market for a new CC shortly after it was created. PMing both Sue and Mike, her hubby (wtiger22) it was easy to see that they were both genuinely good people. It was shortly after that that she was recognized. Now THAT one was well-deserved.

  that painting would sell for millions then.hehe...

  No clue if it's true, but I heard that he only ever sold one painting. I've sold 5 or 6 and have done somewhere in the neighborhood of 20 commissions. Many I've simply given away to family/friends. Three are still hanging in my house. Might be a couple in storage in the basement.

  Well. I've admitted this in the CC forum, so may as well do so here. It's been years since I last put brush to canvas. The eyes and hands have gotten a bit old for it, and if I can't produce good work, I choose not to do so at all. I miss it. In the basement is the maybe 1/3 done work that saw my last attempt.

  I once painted a horse. Some folks thought it was a cow, or an elephant, or a dog...one thought it was a chicken. I guess I can paint a variety of animals.. except a horse?
