There's been a few posts on hear about folks with AV Warnings etc.

It's not a WGT issue.....it an Adobe Flash problem.

Adobe Flash exploit to be patched next week

Adobe has issued a warning that a critical vulnerability has been detected in its Flash player.

The vulnerability is exploited via a corrupt Flash file packaged inside a Microsoft Excel file. Apparently the XLS file sets up the system memory to make the attack more effective, and with success it installs persistent malware on the target machine.

I'm sure WGT will be aware of this.

It's not a wgt virus. But clearly the wgt game client leads the corrupted file in. I think wgt is at least partially responsible here.

might as well hold Microsoft accountable then.

You've done a good job to find and let us aware of the flash vulnerability. But here's my point. Let's say if wgt is displaying some corrupted flash banner ads that are infected by virus, as I have suspected, shouldn't wgt be responsible to identify and get rid of those ads?

I was lucky that my antivirus caught the bug (or maybe not). What about those whose computers are not properly protected and get infected while playing on wgt (some maybe already did), should wgt just tell them "tough luck, not our problem"?

Perhaps this explains why Webroot kicked during a game and blocked a FakeAlert!
Wgt has been experiencing slow loads and bugs during games since Sunday---so hope this "cleans up the system"
