    Robert1893:
Both the Level 71 and Level 81 Nike balls perform extremely well on an iPad. The meter is very smooth and the the effect of backspin is consistent and predictable. The big advantage that the Level 81 ball, which I"m currently using, has over the Level 71 is a slower meter.

I had difficulties with the Level 61 Nike. The meter seemed inconsistent as did the backspin for that ball. That was especially true for pitch shots. Now, it could have been me, but I can hit my pitch shots with much more precision with either the Level 71 or 81 Nike balls.

So, at this point, here' my preference list:

    1. Nike Level 81
    2. Nike Level 71
    3. Callaway Level 33

I had pretty much the exact opposite experience. I found the iron distances very random on all those 3 balls. L48s are very consistent. Alternatively, I'll use L90 Blacks on perf courses and L35 Cally at Bandon/StA.

In another thread a while back, I read where someone else recommended the Nike Level 48 balls. I'm not sure why I never bothered to try them out. So I always forget that they're there. They have great specs and a decent price.

The OP currently uses the wgt GS-13 ball...99 cents ($1.08 because of color option). They are rated 0 for distance and 1 for spin. His clubs are decent though.

Not quite sure it's even worth considering a Nike until the specs can be mastered. Many ball options are currently available, which are far better than what he is using... and much cheaper to buy than the Nikes.

My personal opinion is the Cally 33 is still the best value ball...but as was previously mentioned, dedicated practice is required; regardless of the clubs or balls you use.
