Thanks to the advise on here i'm pretty sure i'm going to upgrade to the PING G10's when i unlock them, i like the idea of the high trajectory.

However that is for irons and maybe fairway wood the driver i'm not so sure about.

The G10 driver unlocks at 58 and is med/high where as the R9 is level 62 and med. I'm wondering if there's a case for having the lower slightly longer hitting R9 as a higher Trajectory for a driver is not such an issue as for the irons. They both have the same meter speeds but is there a thought for keeping all ping G10's together?

Anyone used both that can advise?

I've had both of those drivers in the past. Never seemed to use the G10 once I got the R9. The extra yards are always handy and I found that that lower trajectory was good in the wind. Also with a lower trajectory I found more run on the ball. The extra half dot of forgiveness is a good thing too.

Accuracy off the tee vs distance? Think of how many places you need to be that accurate off the tee. My driving accuracy sucks overall but is there when I need it so IMO go for the distance. The R9 will keep pace with all the drivers and will give you a better approach distance.

I went for the R11 just because it shows as being a High trajectory club. I even went so far as to compare the 2 visually here and came away totally unimpressed with trajectory off the tee.

LMAO. You can be as accurate as you want at SA and it's still a crapshoot as to which mound in the fairway sends you careening.
