I upgraded my GPU from an NVidia GTX 260 to 970...and now my meter is the pits? I used to have a smooth meter with Maxthon3 playing full screen, but now it's really bad in full screen and barely playable in "normal" screen. Maxthon is still better than IE but I don't understand why it would get worse? I am now using HDMI and was using DVI before...could that have anything to do with it? Both browsers have the latest version of Flash Player installed.

This could be a case of just getting a bad card.

The only time I ever had a really bad meter was when I had a failing video card. The next day my PC wouldn't boot up until I disabled my Nvidia card and used the integrated card. My PC now even with the integrated card uses HDMI with a very smooth meter. N

I dont know if you can but see if you can change your core settings . Go into your browser menu  top right corner 3 horizontal bars and click on it . Go down to where you see Switch browser core Ultra > Retro and click on that . If that doesnt work you can try either Maxthon 4.9 or you can get the Max5 beta2 version both work well with the game .

Firstly you have an old version of Maxthon with the latest flash player.  You have a new updated graphics card also. Have you downloaded the latest driver for that card?  If you have that is probably why Maxthon 3 has changed!  You will need Maxthon 4 or 5 to be compatible with your latest driver and flash player.

And if you haven't, do so immediately. That could be most of your headache.

Thanks, gang. The problem was solved by the recommendation to upgrade Maxthon. VERY smooth now!
