OK, thinking about how we all got cheated over the recent Consecutive Days Played issue, and the changes to when you start or finish a round, or what type of game you play, I've devised the perfect solution.
Some people play a hole or three just to keep CDP active. But most will play at another point in the day. We also usually play for CDP when we use a CC pass to get our clubs max points. We also get passes every 12 hours. This creates a problem. Follow me...
I play shortly after 8:00pm (EDT, day change for me) and use a pass. So I get another pass around 8:00am the next morning. If I don't play right at 8:00 I can play between 8:00pm and whenever I get my next pass. I don't like playing at 8 in the morning. So, let's say I play at noon and use a pass. That means I can't play between 8:00 and midnite unless I buy a pass. Not good.
So here's my solution. Let a player choose which round they want to apply their CDP points to. Maybe a check box in the dialog asking if you want to use a pass. That way if I don't have a pass available when the day changes, I can delay those 880 points until I get one.
That way I don't have to avoid playing between the day change and when I get my next pass. And doesn't WGT want us to play as often as possible?
Think about it...
