I know it would be pointless to offer an offline mode for PPC or laptop players but as I travel frequently and spent numerous hours in cars, trains and especially airplanes, it would be great if the game would be available without internet access at times. Obviously there would be restrictions on what can be played but it would be easy to shoot a few practice rounds I guess or even post some bracket scores that will be updated ones connected to the internet online version of the game thereafter?

I am sure I am not alone with that thought as many mobile players are not always connected to a high speed internet source. Even if I play on 4G or LTE on my ipad the connection is not always good enough, so an offline version would really help during such times ...

    Just a thought ....

I second this request.  I would love to be able to play a practice round on an airplane, even if it was limited to just a few courses.

It's a online game so not much more than that can be said

I understand that but there are plenty of online games that can be played in off line mode as well, so while this may require some effort and re-programing it is not entirely impossible. ... Do I believe it will happen in the next couple of months? No, I don't ... But I thought it was worth bringing it up for consideration ... :-)

    Not impossible but highly improbable

I would love this but it would take up a huge amount of storage space on the device to hold all the graphics and options that you get online.
