I've reached L84 now and have been looking forward to getting Nike vapors at L85, then I read a generally positive review of them that said "almost as good at the L75 speedblades but with a slower meter". Well that's what I'm playing and after some practice I'm coping OK with the meter on them, (still a bit nervous trying to get the ding on a 3 or 4 iron).

Anyone that's used both got an opinion and some advice? It's really the .5 extra forgiveness I was looking forward too although the meter sounds nice too lol.

I dislike the 6 and 8 irons on the speedblades as well. The 8 iron especially, 6 yards variation in length between a ding and a hair off.

i have used the speedblades didn't care for the meter miss ding and who knew where ball went i also used the lvl 85 nikes much better meter to control the long irons. So if you have the credits when you reach lvl 85 i say go for the vapors just my 2 cents.

Used to be the natural upgrade was l90 irons after the L79 blades,  The L85s are that bit easier going than the L90s BUT see this thread.

Per Solar I am also be thinking the L90 RSi2s are a strong consideration for you.

Hopefully I'll  get a free rental on the 85 Vapors when I turn L85..but the R12s will now be a consideration at 90..but it seems a long way away if getting from 83 to 84 is anything to judge by.

If you look at XPs and levels L90 need not be as far away as you think IF you do at least the one hole a day to keep max XP going..........Got to do that though.  Get to L90 and it all really starts spacing out.
